At H & N Custom Homes, we work with our clients in a unique way. We try to eliminate surprise costs by providing quotes based on an approved design that we work with you to create, rather than just providing an estimate. We take the time to meet with you in person, walk through the project, and create a design that meets your needs and preferences. Our process consists of the following:
Initial Consultation
During this first meeting, we will work together to determine the exact scope of the project, discuss budgets, and explain our process, as well as discuss any preliminary design ideas.
Feasibility Study and Design Phase
This phase includes developing designs taking into account the existing structure and design-build trends, defining scope for final plan, creating floor plans and 3D design renderings, and identifying zoning or covenant restrictions.
Construction Documents Creation
Design review with mechanical and structure experts during walk-through to determine any structural issues.
Material Selection
Clients meet with our designer to select materials, including plumbing and lighting fixtures, flooring, tile, cabinets, countertops, and paint colors.
Construction Phase
We understand why building permits are crucial. Our process includes permits procured by H & N Custom Homes, project scheduling, coordination of inspections and client review of project completion for sign off of work. Throughout the construction process, you will receive regular communications from your Project Manager to keep you updated on your project’s progress.
Whether you are undergoing a kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel or a home addition, we are here to help and work with you every step of the way!
Home Remodeling
Gone are the days of compartmentalized living, as open concept homes are on the rise. Many clients have come to us for our help in creating the feeling of open concept living in their current home.
The open concept layout not only is more conducive to entertaining and spending time with family, but can also help make your home feel larger. This may just involve removing a wall between the living area and kitchen area or it may involve rearranging the entire living space to allow for a more open feel and better traffic flow.
There are many other ways to remodel your home to better suit your needs and lifestyle. Maybe you would like to convert a spare room or porch into an office, or convert a screened porch into a sunroom for space that can be enjoyed all year. Or perhaps you want to combine rooms to create a large master suite.
Our job is to work with you to better understand your needs and wants and to help create more usable space in your home. During the design process we collaborate with you on layout and space planning. Then you’ll watch as the plans come to life during construction phase.
Remodeling can be a stressful, but very rewarding experience. If you are considering a home remodel, give us a call today and see how we can help with your project.
